Two full-time reporter positions are open with Idaho Education News, one located in North Idaho, living and working in the Coeur d’Alene/Post Falls area; and one located in eastern Idaho, living and working in the Idaho Falls/Pocatello region. Idaho Education News is affiliated with Boise State University; the reporters will be BSU employees.
They will research, write and report features, enterprise and investigative stories, and provide comprehensive beat coverage of schools in their regions. They’ll also take photos to accompany stories and conduct and post podcast and video interviews. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in journalism or a related field plus two years professional experience; three years of daily journalism experience is preferred. Pay ranges from $36,500 to $41,900 per year plus benefits. There’s more information here:
